Ingredients

Meats
  • 4 oz salami thinly sliced
  • 4 oz prosciutto
  • 3 oz pepperoni
Cheeses
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar sliced or cubed
  • 4 oz brie at room temperature
  • 4 oz smoked gouda sliced
Crackers & Bread
  • 1 sleeve buttery crackers
  • 1 sleeve water crackers
Fruits & Nuts
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • 0.5 cup fresh strawberries halved
  • 0.25 cup almonds or walnuts
Spreads & Accents
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry jam or fig preserves
  • 0.25 cup Castelvetrano olives or cornichons
  • fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish, optional

Method

Instructions
  1. Set out your board and place small bowls first for honey, jam, and olives — these anchor the layout and give you a starting point to build around.
  2. Place cheeses in different areas of the board, spacing them out so guests can reach each one easily.
  3. Fold or fan your meats in the spaces between the cheese sections. Fold salami in half twice to create little cups.
  4. Tuck crackers in neat rows or fans, filling gaps around the meats and cheeses.
  5. Add grapes, strawberries, and other fruits in remaining open spaces.
  6. Fill small bowls with honey, jam or preserves, and olives.
  7. Scatter nuts into any remaining gaps.
  8. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs if desired.
  9. Serve immediately or cover loosely and refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
